  • Newsletter June: Highlighted upcoming events. Thanks Jen!
  • Traffic Calming and Upgrades Update: Gabe and Micah
    • Discussion starting about Williams St. traffic calming
    • Speed Bumps/Stanchions and Flashing signs for playground
    • Paving Washington Square
    • Winter/WSN need more indication for Red light/crosswalk. Micah reached out to CWF

Board/Chair Reports 

Common Issues: Jennifer and Jenn 

  • Updates to share?
    1st gravel company was out of business or had number change. Spoke with 2nd gravel company and did not receive a call back. 
  • Signs on waste bins- have not completed due. Will do my best this week. 
  • Cleanup needs/see click fix or reach out to Katie? 
    • Jennifer needs in person intro to Katie 
  • Lamp heads, need to follow up with Patti K about lampheads found on FB marketplace

SCNA Events: Milo

  • Block Party August 11th: What needs to be planned in advance?
    • plates, napkins, cups, wine, etc
  • Event Schedule: August 7th Sell water for Ice Scream Bowl and Movie Night (Sell Popcorn and Candy)
  • Lawn Party Updates/needs/volunteers/vendors
  • Popcorn from Cinema Salem is great, might not need that much for most movie nights though.
  • need to send City Council Application for Mechanical Rides
  • Yard Sale in Sept, potential partner with Creative Collective

  • Website Updates: *No word from Kristen* Need to decide on path forward
  • Membership Drive: 100 postcards handed out. 100 printed in advance of August 7th movie night/Ice Scream Bowl
  • Meetings: SCNA Bandstand Updates/Stakeholder Meeting, Friends of Salem Common meeting, City Events Committee Meeting

Ongoing

  • Bandstand will be part of Phase 2 City initiative, flower beds and electric. Stakeholder meeting being planned.
  • Adult recreation area
