Old Business: 

  • NIAC Meeting Updates: Council on aging presentation. plenty of resources for seniors. think about including info in newsletter or Facebook. Japan/Ota exchange happening this summer. 
  • Winter Brunch Update: Jen/Ryan handled ticketing. Mayor and Councilor Smith talked. Mayor focused on HS and taxes.

    • Icy paths and Snow removal at entrances. One bench by WSN/Williams got destroyed.

    • March Newsletter- Senior services from Niac? reminder about Witch Museum Movie Night; recap/photos (thanks Ryan!) of winter brunch, muster
    • Business members
    • Adele: wants to be more involved in designing work. Will utilize her skills when needed.

SCNA Events: Jordan Santiago

  • Witch Museum Movie Night: “The Craft” Friday 3/13 Doors open 6:45pm Movie begins at 7pm
    • What is needed/chairs? Popcorn?
      • Jordan to reach out to Bertram House and Popped this week
    • Annual Muster April 11th (events begin at 8am) Walkthrough March 10th 10am. SCNA will offer lunch to visiting officials after walkthrough.
    • Mayor’s Night Out – Common secured!

Vice President: Anna

  • Central Google Drive for all our documents, knowledgebase, minutes, flyers, etc.-No update

New Business: Micah

  • Bandstand work is tentatively scheduled to start on 7/1 and may last through the fall. Movie nights/and Lawn party will be affected likely. Pushback on city to postpone the work start for Spring 2027
  • Update on trees: RFP for tree placement plan, Darleen Melis donation needs to be accepted by city council to fund the plan.
  • Need to make a plan for annual meeting/elections-need to send out election form and solicit responses
    • March 25 meeting date.  will announce by 3/4.
    • Speaker Ideas: will brainstorm for speakers.
