- SAFE CBA Offshore Wind Facility: SAFE/City meeting on 9/14 revealed substantial differences on CBA that require resolution.
- Upgrades & Traffic Calming:
- New requests for raised signage at WSN & speed bumps at WSE
- Paving around Common on Washington Square needed
- Traffic monitoring on Winter Street
- Website Updates: Project on hold
- NIAC: 9/13/23 meeting occurred – will distribute minutes when received
- Salem 400+: SCNA attending planning session at Senior Center on 9/20 at 3 PM.
- Raised Beds On Common: SCNA supports joint Girl Scouts/Maitland Farms venture sponsored by Councilor Varela. Installed on 9/16. Salem News article.

- Kids Fun Fest: All set for Oct 21/22 & 28/29
- Nov. Common tree/wreath decorating– Jenn to confirm donations
- HSI Event: SCNA supporting HSI ‘s Christmas in Salem event
- Holiday Concert: Planned for Bridge@211 in December
- Continuing to look for new event lead
Washington Arch: Gabe
- Positive ongoing feedback from community & visitors
- Arch lighting to be included in future City lamppost plans
- Looking to get existing spotlight operational for holidays
- Washington Arch Restoration wins HSI Preservation award!
- Wreath approved to add to Arch for holiday season
Common & Neighborhood Issues & Enhancements: Jenn
- Bandstand: Phase 2 (restore dome; add flowerbeds) exploring w/Mike C
- Fence: Working with Patti K & Mike C on needed near/long term solutions
- Lights: Mike C exploring options (multi-color, etc.) for Hubie lights
- Raised Beds: Phase 1 completed with beds in place. Planting to follow.
- Future: Explore possible adult recreational/fitness installation on Common
